A New Office for the 21st Century! Braver Technology Solutions wanted to bring their 5,000 sq. ft. office up to date to reflect the high-tech services that they provide their clients. The only windows are in the front of the building, so they wanted to open up the space to let light filter through the entire office. They also requested collaborative spaces to allow employees to support one another, problem-solve together, and work toward common goals. Our Sr. Designer, Meghan Robinson started by creating a space plan. She then selected the paint colors, new flooring, and specified the new furniture. I have worked with Domenic Rignanese from Complements Art Gallery for many years and trust him implicitly with our clients to help them add the creative, artistic, and on point finishing touches to their beautiful new offices. It is not unusual in the commercial world for some people to view their space as a workplace and not necessarily a place where employees and customers spend more time than they do in their own homes. Adding color and subject interest via art makes an environment much more pleasant for employees and gives a lasting impression on visiting clients. Mike from MG Commercial Real Estate had been hesitant to add new artwork to his renovated office but after several discussions with Domenic on the value of large pieces that fill the wall with strong colors and non reflective glass he could not believe the difference. He soon realized the small investment gave back big returns from staff to guests. In fact, he wants to do more, a true testament to the value of art.
